Colourful Eastern rosella, red, white, blue, yellow, green, in dead fringe wattle surrounded by native grasses

Eastern rosella in the branches of a dead fringe-wattle.

We keep many of the burnt/dead shrubs and trees because (amongst other things) they are important landing sites

for the birds to rest and safely survey the ground.

The long flowering native grasses are currently providing a lot of good foraging stock for the crimson and eastern rosellas.
