A Gang-gang cockatoo pair amidst leaves and branches. Female pale grey with salmon pink scalloping on chest. Male grey with bright orange head.

Gang-gang cockatoo pair in a regenerating Stringy bark.

Male upper left and female lower right.

Return visit.

I associate these birds and their creaky calls and murmurs with this place.

It was devastating to see their food shrubs and trees disappear in the fire.

It will be some years before they will be able to snack here abundantly.

In the meantime it is wonderful to have the occasional visit.
