Early morning walk.

While many of the trees have not survived the grass trees are thriving and flowering.

This grass tree was burnt to a stubble.

You can see the pale fringes at the end of the leaves.

The green is regrowth over the past five months along with the scape and flowering spike.

I think these are Xanthorrhoea resinosa
